1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the A Bubble a Day app (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

The App is designed with users aged 13 and older in mind.

2. Service Description

A Bubble a Day is a mobile app intended to offer a small feel-good moment during your day. You tap the bubble on the screen, the bubble pops, and a short surprise message appears. Key features:

1 bubble surprise per day
480 ready-made messages embedded in the App (240 Turkish + 240 English)
5 bubble themes (classic free; four themes Pro) and 22 special day themes
Up to 10 of your own messages, usable instead of the built-in pool (Pro)
Saving messages you like to favorites
Sharing a message as a visual card
Local reminder notifications on your device, on by default; permission is requested at first launch, and you can turn them off or pause them whenever you like
Turkish / English interface

The App works offline. You do not need to create an account or sign in; there is no record kept for you on any server.

Note: The App is free to download and works fully with its core features. Four bubble themes (Sunrise, Ocean, Meadow, Moonlight) and writing your own messages are unlocked with a one-time purchase ("Pro"); the classic theme and all other core features are free. See Section 7 for details.

3. Not Medical or Psychological Advice

The purpose of the App is to make you feel good for a moment; it is not a health service.

❌ The App does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice
❌ It does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment, and is not a substitute for medication or therapy
❌ It does not replace a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, or any other health professional
❌ The messages in the App are not produced from an individual assessment of you; they are pre-written general messages

If you believe you are experiencing a mental or physical health problem, please consult a health professional. If you are in an emergency or having thoughts of harming yourself, call your local emergency number without delay (112 in Türkiye).

4. License to Use

4.1 Personal, Non-Commercial Use

Yakup Habanoğlu grants you the right to use the App for personal and non-commercial purposes. This license is:

✅ Non-exclusive (others also have the right)
✅ Non-transferable (you cannot transfer it)
✅ Revocable (canceled if you violate the Terms)

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT:

❌ Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the source code
❌ Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works
❌ Extract the message pool and reuse it elsewhere
❌ Manipulate the App or your device to exceed usage limits
❌ Use content produced by the App to spread spam, advertising, or harmful content
❌ Write profanity, hate speech, violent, or sexual content in your own messages, or attempt to bypass the content filter
❌ Use the App for illegal activities

Violation of these rules results in immediate license termination and may lead to legal action.

5. User Content ("My Messages")

The App allows you to add your own messages (up to 10).

5.1 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for any content you add
Content must comply with laws and must not infringe the rights of others
The App's content filter attempts to block inappropriate words, but cannot guarantee 100% safety

5.2 Content Ownership

Messages you add belong to you; Yakup Habanoğlu claims no rights over them
Your messages are stored on your device; the App does not send them to any server
A message leaves your device only when you press the share button and choose the destination yourself; no copy reaches the developer
Uninstalling the App also removes your messages from your device

Visual share cards generated through the App:

✅ May be shared on social media
✅ May be sent in private messages
✅ May be saved for personal use
❌ May not be used commercially without permission to use the marks ("Mutluluk Baloncuğu", "A Bubble a Day")

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

The App and all of its content (code, design, messages, graphics, sounds, logos) belong to Yakup Habanoğlu. It is protected by international copyright laws and intellectual property treaties.

6.2 Specially Protected Elements

🎨 Bubble design (iridescent rendering)
💬 480 carefully written messages (240 Turkish + 240 English)
🖼️ Share card design
🎨 Bubble themes (5 total) and special day themes (22 total)
🫧 Trademarks: "Mutluluk Baloncuğu", "A Bubble a Day"

6.3 Third-Party Content

Flutter framework: BSD-3-Clause license
License information for the pop sound and the open-source packages used is listed in LICENSES.txt
The same list can be viewed inside the App at Settings > Legal > Third-Party Licenses

7. Paid Features and Payments

7.1 Free and Pro Features

The App is free to download and works fully with its core features, even without a Pro purchase.

Free features (fully functional without Pro):

1 bubble and its surprise per day
Unlimited favorites
Visual share card (1080×1080 PNG)
Local notifications on your device, and pausing them
The classic bubble theme
22 special day themes (they appear automatically on the relevant day; no Pro required)
Transparency, sound, and language settings

Features unlocked by the one-time Pro purchase:

Four bubble themes: Sunrise (Şafak), Ocean (Deniz), Meadow (Çayır), and Moonlight (Ay Işığı). The classic theme is free.
Writing your own messages (up to 10 messages)

7.2 Payments

The Pro unlock is a one-time in-app purchase; it is not a subscription, there is no auto-renewal or recurring charge, and it is not a consumable product
You purchase it once and the features are unlocked permanently
The price is shown in the store and may vary by country/region
Payments are processed by Google Play (Google) and are subject to Google Play's own agreements and rules
Yakup Habanoğlu does not have access to your payment details (card number, etc.), does not see them, and does not store them

7.3 Refunds and Restoring Your Purchase

Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy, and requests are made through Google Play: play.google.com
If you change devices or reinstall the App, you can regain your Pro entitlement for free using "Restore purchase" with your store account

8. Service Provision

8.1 Availability

The App is provided "as is"
Yakup Habanoğlu does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation
Certain operating system versions may be required for updates

8.2 Service Termination

Yakup Habanoğlu reserves the right to discontinue the App or remove it from the stores, with advance notice.

9. Termination

You may terminate at any time: simply remove the App from your device. Your settings, favorites, and your own messages stored on the device are removed as well
The developer may terminate: if you violate these Terms, the license granted in Section 4 ends without the need for notice
After termination you must stop using the App
Termination does not affect provisions that by their nature must survive (intellectual property, limitation of liability, disclaimer of warranties, indemnification, governing law and jurisdiction)

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 General

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yakup Habanoğlu is not liable for:

Indirect damages arising from use of the App
Data loss caused by device failure, device replacement, or deletion of the App
Content issues in messages written by users themselves
The consequences of content a user sends, via the share feature, to a destination they chose themselves
Problems caused by third-party services (App Store, Google Play, the operating system)

10.2 Maximum Liability

Yakup Habanoğlu's total liability cannot exceed the total amount collected from you through Google Play for the App (including the one-time Pro purchase, if any). If you have not made the Pro purchase, that amount is zero.

10.3 Non-Applicable Limitations

In some jurisdictions these limitations of liability may not apply. In such cases, liability is reduced to the minimum level permitted by that jurisdiction.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". Yakup Habanoğlu:

❌ Does not guarantee uninterrupted operation
❌ Does not guarantee fitness for a particular purpose
❌ Does not guarantee error-free operation
❌ Does not guarantee that the messages will produce any particular emotional or psychological effect on you

12. Indemnification

You agree to compensate for any damages arising from your violation of these Terms and to hold Yakup Habanoğlu harmless from any such claims.

13. Changes to Terms

Yakup Habanoğlu may update these Terms as needed:

Significant changes will be announced within the App
The current text can always be read under Settings > Legal
If you do not accept the Terms, you must stop using the App
Continued use of the App means you accept the new Terms

14. Severability

If any portion of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining portions stay in effect.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Turkish law applies. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction over disputes. The rights of users who qualify as consumers regarding the choice of competent court/authority under applicable consumer legislation are reserved.
